If you’re sending cart abandonment emails, read this! This is great data from Jilt, the cart abandonment app: they looked at a huge dataset from their customers to see what levels of discount worked.
The data wasn’t quite what I expected: lower percentage discounts can be more effective than higher percentage discounts, and that trend increases the higher priced the product is: on carts priced over $200, a 5% discount is 50% more effective than a 10% discount.
