Speed Up Image-Heavy Sites with a3 Lazy Load

lazy dog lazy loading for wordpress

WordPress has a number of lazy loading solutions, but the one I’ve most recently used to improve Writers.com‘s performance on our image-heavy pages is a3 Lazy Load, and I’m very happy with my choice.

Lazy loading speeds up a site by allowing a server to wait to deliver images until you scroll toward those images’ position on the page. a3 Lazy Load is highly configurable, it works right out of the box in my experience, and it actually did measurably speed up Writers.com when I installed it. Have a look.
