How to Paginate a Custom WP_Query: Stack Overflow to the Rescue
Something I can’t remember needing to do before is to paginate a custom
WP_Query. (Maybe my memory’s failing me, since this is what you’d need to know how to do to put post content at the top of an archive page—one of the weirdest and most common “Why can’t WordPress do that?” things in my experience.)
At any rate, I was stuck on a client project, and found this great Stack Overflow post on the topic. The one with the dozen or so upvotes is how you do it.
This is also a friendly reminder that about 50% of a WordPress developer’s job is knowing how to find the right information on Stack Overflow and similar sources. Don’t be shy, it’s literally our job. Happy Monday!
