Nometech relaunches! Introducing WPShout.com

Posted on 18. Jul, 2009 by in Uncategorized

As you may know from various hints I’ve been dropping recently, Nometech has been going through a little redesign and relaunch, and today I’m (very) pleased to announce that Nometech has relaunched as WPShout.com!

Some exciting stuff:

  • A super-duper exciting new design! (feed readers click here to see it!)
  • You don’t need to update your RSS feed!
  • General niceties; the design is very nice (or so I think).
  • Advertising opportunities!  There are a couple of advertising spots available; get in touch with me for more info.
  • Regular posting will be resumed! Posting hasn’t been too regular recently, but that will change – I’ve got some great posts lined up and coming soon! Grab the RSS feed to join an ever increasing amount of subscribers (thank you!).

The future

It can be a scary prospect, the future, but not for WPShout! As I said, lots of exciting new content, but that’s not the best bit; the best bit is you, the reader. Any feedback, ideas etc etc I’d love to hear it.

Very nice design. :) It hits as simplistic but then soaks in as quite polished actually.

    Two things I noticed:
    – links blend with text in post body
    – choosing another post in commentluv does very weird thing to all links on page
    .-= Rarst´s last blog ..Best =-.

Ta for the feedback. I’ll get links underlined, but as for commentluv, not quite sure; I’ll have to take a closer look sometime.

Forgot to ask – what plugin (or snippet or whatever) are you using for featured section on home page? I like how it enhances slider with list and thumbs.

I have like few dozens plugins queued to check for new theme. :\ Sometiems I think there is too many of those around. :)

It’s not a plugin, it’s fancy jQuery :D . There’ll be a post up next week on some of the ‘stuff’ I used to make the new theme.

          few dozens plugins queued

Bad karma! I always try to limit myself to 5 plugins!
