And We’re Back!

Hello! If it isn’t my favourite internet! So it’s been a while and I’m sure some of you have only started reading WPShout in that time, in which case, hello! I’m Alex! I run this place.

I can only apologise for being a bit rubbish at the old writing new content thing. I’ve sort of been a little busy and I “wasn’t feeling inspired” and all of those other excellent excuses that the internet likes to use. This post is just a little refresher and sets out how things were and how things were meant to be.

Over the next couple of weeks you should see a return to regular posting and a couple of new post formats — roundups of WordPress themes and the like are things I want to bring WPShout.

The WordPress Hosting Survey

Thank you to the people who’ve emailed me to ask about the results of the massive survey I asked you all to help with and then didn’t do anything with. I still have all the results and plan to write up the data over the next couple of weeks.

That time when the site didn’t work

I’ve had a couple of problems with the site over the last couple of weeks (read: it didn’t work), but the lovely people at WPWebHost have finally managed to get everything sorted. If you see anything still not working, please let me know in the comments.

Reviews of web hosting providers at Businesswebhostingplans.com include specialist WordPress hosts.

When you were gone

I’m off to catch up on all the things I’ve missed whilst I was away from the wonderful-world-of-WordPress. If you’re new here, say hi! If you’re not new here, say hi anyway!

Everybody wins when there are comments involved!

Have you noticed WPShout loads super-fast? That's because the site is running on the super-amazing WPEngine hosting.

Fed up of shared hosts that don't work? Give them a try.
