After the success of the last A to Z post here on Nometech, guiding you through an A to Z of WordPress .htaccess hacks, I thought I’d continue the tradition and write another one. I’ve got a more in the pipeline too, so make sure you subscribe to the RSS feed if you enjoy this post!
Anyway. Without further ado, here is the first part of the A to Z of free WordPress themes.
A – Agregado

A brilliant ‘lifestream’ theme from Darren Hoyt and Matt Dawson of Category4, commissioned by Smashing Magazine. Did I mention it looks great?

B – Blues

Another great theme from Smashing Magazine, blues is a mix between blog and magazine – that elusive concept that everyone wants these days.
C – Compositio

A lovely clean bloggy theme.
D – Daily Press Theme
I love this magazine theme. I’ll say no more.
E – Elegance

Neat looking bloggy theme.
F – WP Freemium

‘a two column WordPress Theme heavily designed for multi-authored blogs. WPFreemium features a deep integration of Gravatar images for all post authors, author profiles, and comments. Some of the primary goals for creating this theme was for it to be light weight, fast, and really highlight on the contributing authors.’
G – Gallery

An amazing gallery WordPress theme, based on the Thematic framework.
H -HemingwayEx

Neat two column dark theme.
I -iTheme

An amazingly innovative theme, with moveable sidebars and a general all-round great mac-like look.
J -Jentri

A nice looking minimalistic bloggy theme.
K – K2

A revolutionary WordPress theme, the basis of well, just about everything. It’s genius.
L – Love Earth

Something slightly different with this theme – transparency!
M – More Coming Soon!
These posts take an awful lot of time, so like most of the A to Z posts from now on, this’ll be split up into two parts. Make sure you subscribe to the RSS feed to be notified when the next post is up!
