A Look Around WordPress 2.8, Beta 1
WordPress 2.8 beta one was released just the other day, and after 2.7′s big overhaul, you weren’t expecting any big changes were you? You were? Sorry. There aren’t many. But there are some, and they’re quite neat changes too. This post takes a poke around the new beta.
Theme installer

So yeah. It’s quicker. Other new features include it being easier to install/preview/delete themes and.. wait for it… syntax highlighting in the theme/plugins editor!
Other new features
Erm. Nothing else that’s particularly big, but some useful little fixes, for example you can save posts by pressing CTRL and S, post authors won’t be notified of their own comments, and you can choose your own timezone. Full list here.
And finally
